Kortney Sleeping
Kortney was a great help to me today!! She is such a great child. God has really blessed me with two wonderful children. Tonight was her night to sleep in my room. When I went to my room to get something she was out cold. So I snuck these pictures of her too. Just like Jake, she has no clue that I took them!!
Jakob Actually Took A Nap!!
Jakob came home from school one day this week really tired. He put in a Bible on CD in the stereo and by Genesis Chapter 4 he was asleep and slept for an hour. For those of you who know Jake, he does not slow down for anything and the word "nap" is not in his vocabulary. So, this was a shocker!! Oh, by the way, he does not know that I took these pictures. HAHAHA!!

Final Post for Tonight
MISC...
Just wanted to share a picture with you of some flowers that I bought for the house. A nice lady from my church was selling them as a fund-raiser. Also a picture of Kortney being funny before bed. Love, DB!!
New Glasses!!
I bought some new glasses. I just wanted to share them with you all. I pray that you all are doing well. Also, after our camping trip, Jake vacuumed out the van for me. He did a wonderful job!!! I thank God every day for Jake, even though his nick-name is DENNIS. LOL!! God Bless!! DB.
Camping Trip
Big Tarantula!!
By the Waterfall!!
Our Camping Group
I went camping with some of my church family and we had a great time. Nothing like camping in a house!! While there, we ran in to a tarantula. We also hiked up to a waterfall. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get to the camp site when it should have only taken me 1 hour. I didn't follow someone's directions and therefore I wound up taking the long route and getting a bit misplaced. I learned a valuable lesson!! The kids had fun swimming and playing miniature golf. Thanks to my church family for including my family in this special function. DB!!

Hollinger Happenings
Another couple of days have passed so it is time to share with you some Hollinger Happenings. Nick is doing great. He seems to enjoy his location, for what it is. He actually said it was not quite bad. He does miss the everyday family noises. That is one thing that is hard there for him. There are no children on base, so the sounds we sometimes take for granted, people in deployed locations miss. He is encouraged by everyone's emails so please keep them coming. He tells me every time we talk who he has received emails from. He sent me a couple of pictures of his room to share with everyone. It's not what I would want to call home for months on end. Today I gave my first puppet show. It was fun. My arm and voice got a workout. The puppet show was for Sunday School and it was on Salvation, Salesman Style. Thank God for Google!! I went to lunch with some friends after church today. We went to a Mexican Resturaunt and one gentleman ordered a fish. There is a before and after picture that I will post. It is quite humorous. The kids are doing great. Jake is excited because some of his friends are home from a nice Hawaiian Vacation. Anyone who doesn't know what DB means curious yet? HAHAHA! Love, DB.

Hello, It's me again.
Well, things have been very busy here the last several days. Nick has finally made it to his final destination. For those of you who don't know he is in Iraq. Anyone wanting contact information, please email me personally. I am not going to post that info on a public blog. I am finally caught up in all my classes. Yeah!!! It feels like I can breath again. Last Friday I met with some sister's from the church for lunch. We had a great time. I was being interviewed for the church newsletter. Friday night the kids had a sleepover with some friends from church and the kids played Twister. Saturday I gave a speech on Credit Card Debt for my speech class. It went over very well. Then I went shopping. I haven't been shopping in over a year. It was fun. I had several kids with me, but they were all troopers and we had a good time. Afterwards, I treated them to McDonald's and they loved that! Sunday, after church, I went to lunch with some friends from church. It was a great time. They all love Jake and Jake loves all the attention. Looks like Jake might have pink eye or something-itis. It has been bothering him for a couple of days now. He is on antibiotic eye drops. If he is not better by Friday I have to take him back in. Kortney has been having wrist problems off and on this summer. After several appointments, we are now seeing a physical therapist who thinks that a bone is her hand is a bit loose. How that happened we have no idea. We have about 20 sessions and she should be back on track. Well, that catches me up to today. Please pray I get some sleep. I tend to not sleep when Nick is gone. Please keep Nick in your prayer's. TTFN-DB.
